The first African-American woman to practice dentistry in the Broward County, Dr. Michele Dallas is a graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry. She earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and completed an advanced General Dentistry residency program at Howard University and a bachelors of science degree at Georgetown University.

In 1999, Dr. Dallas was appointed by Gov. Jeb Bush to the State of Florida Board of Dentistry. She recently completed her second four-year term. Dr. Dallas is also a member the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Broward County Dental Association, the American Dental Examiners Association, the Academy of General Dentistry Association and The Intercoastal Dental Study Club.

A native of Fort Lauderdale, Dr. Dallas also volunteers in the community, giving her time to The Boys & Girls Club of Broward County and The Links, Inc.. In addition, she does volunteer home visits to senior citizens and frequently participates in school “Career Day” programs.
